Your workspace stays on your Mac.

Orbit is a macOS utility by Alberto Montagnese. It does not require an account and does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or window contents.

Information Orbit uses

Orbit uses macOS Accessibility permission to identify and move app windows and to send your chosen keyboard shortcuts. It stores your layouts, Chrome profile choices, shortcut settings, and onboarding state in local app preferences on your Mac. It does not transmit this information to us.

Network and third parties

Orbit does not operate a data collection server. If you choose a link to this website, GitHub support, or a macOS settings page, that destination may handle your visit under its own policy. Apple processes App Store downloads and purchases under Apple’s privacy policy.

Retention and control

Your settings remain on your Mac until you change or remove them. You can remove Orbit’s local preferences using macOS tools after uninstalling the app. You can revoke Accessibility permission at any time in System Settings.
